Rare Hits and Non-Hits of the 60's

Well, I finally set up a music blog and have spent the last three hours deciding on what songs to kick it off with it.

First off is the Carole King song that has been searched for high and low, A Road to Nowhere.

Then a more upbeat BBC version of Days by The Kinks.

I admit to a weakness for sunshine pop. Here's a nice little number by the Newbeats (great name, eh?) called Laura. It's the bass line that propels this one up onto the list of greats.

Finally, a great 60's song I've been meaning to put on a comp for a long time, Russian Spy and I by Hunters, who I think are Dutch.

Well, I can hear the garbage truck out on the street ... I guess this is what happens when the wife and kids go out of town.
